Nyberg’s devotion to and strong belief in the importance of the poetry in vocal music led her to study poetry recital for Eilakaija Sippo in 2005. In the same year she won first prize in the Finnish national poetry recital competition In Eino Leino’s Footsteps (Eino Leinon jalanjäljillä). Since then Nyberg has continuously played and sung parts in dramatized productions.

Since then Nyberg has successfully performed several gasture concerts e.g. Love, Madness and Despair, Le Caffé and Hulluna sinuun (Crazy for you). Minna Nyberg is at present the only artist in Finland who performs the art of baroque gesture on a professional level.
In addition to being a freelance singer Nyberg works as a singing teacher. She regularly teaches private students in the art of singing and is also an appreciated choach of choires. Since the fall of 2016 Nyberg coaches Female Voice Choire Lyran in vocal technique.
